- Account information: provider account identifiers, username, display name, and profile image when the connected platform makes them available.
- Platform connection information: authorization credentials and token metadata needed to maintain your Twitch or YouTube connection.
- Giveaway information: stream sessions, platform, live chat identifier, giveaway rules, entries, winners, and timestamps.
- Chat participant information: platform user ID, username, display name, and available subscriber or sponsor status for people whose messages trigger a giveaway entry. We read chat messages in real time to find entry keywords; the full message text is not stored as part of the giveaway entry record.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request, browser, and error data contained in application logs.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- authenticate you and maintain your account;
- connect to authorized Twitch and YouTube chats;
- detect giveaway entries, track eligibility, and select winners;
- display giveaway activity and overlays requested by you;
- secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the service; and
- comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
3. Platform permissions
When you connect YouTube, Google asks for permission to read your YouTube account and live chat data using the scope shown in the authorization flow. When you connect Twitch, Twitch provides the profile and authorization information required for sign-in and chat access. You can revoke these permissions in your Twitch or Google account settings, although doing so may prevent related features from working.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the service, including with hosting, database, infrastructure, and platform providers; or when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse. Giveaway information you choose to display may be visible to your stream viewers.
5. Storage and security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and connected platform accounts.
6. Retention
We retain account, connection, and giveaway information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We may retain information in backups for a limited period after it is deleted from active systems.
7. Your choices
You may revoke Twitch or Google access through the relevant provider, stop using the service, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some information may need to be retained when required by law or needed for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.
8. Children
Stream Giveaways is not directed to children who are under the minimum age required to use online services in their jurisdiction. Do not use the service or provide personal information if you are not permitted to do so under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date. Your continued use of the service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
