These Terms of Service govern your use of Stream Giveaways, a tool for streamers to monitor live chat and manage giveaways. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using the service
You may use Stream Giveaways only if you can legally enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You are responsible for the activity carried out through your account, including the giveaway rules you create and the content you display to viewers.
2. Accounts and platform connections
Sign-in is provided through Twitch. You may optionally connect a YouTube account so the service can read the live chat for a stream you select. You authorize only the access described during each provider's authorization flow, and you may revoke that access from the provider's account settings.
You must keep your account and connected platform accounts secure. Do not share access to your account or use another person's account without permission.
3. Giveaways
Stream Giveaways provides software for running giveaways; it is not the sponsor or administrator of giveaways created by users. You are solely responsible for each giveaway's eligibility requirements, official rules, selection process, prize fulfillment, taxes, disclosures, and compliance with applicable laws and platform rules.
You must not describe a giveaway as being sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Stream Giveaways, Twitch, YouTube, or Google unless you have the appropriate authorization. Your giveaways must not require an unlawful purchase or otherwise violate applicable sweepstakes, contest, or promotion laws.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- break the law or violate the rights of another person;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
- collect or process personal information without an appropriate legal basis;
- operate deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, or manipulated giveaways; or
- violate Twitch, YouTube, Google, or any other applicable third-party terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content and giveaway information you provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
6. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party services, including Twitch, YouTube, Google, hosting, and database providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, features, or policies, and a change or outage in a third-party service may affect Stream Giveaways.
7. Availability and disclaimers
Stream Giveaways is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every chat message, entry, or winner event will be received or processed. You should maintain your own giveaway records and have a backup procedure for important promotions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stream Giveaways and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or prizes arising from or related to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the service or these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a violation of these Terms.
